The students:
The Newman School's enduring tradition of academic excellence continues to attract intellectually and creatively talented students. Over 40% of the American student body receives tuition support, with Newman committing an impressive 14.75% of its budget to financial aid. This helps ensure that the school admits a diverse student body that brings a wealth of academic, artistic and athletic talent to the school.

The faculty:
Preserving a tradition of imaginative and inspired teaching is central to Newman's identity, and energetic, experienced and talented teachers are at the heart of The Newman School experience. Our small student to teacher ratio and strong student-centered approach requires inspired teachers who respect different types of intelligence and who are open to diverse learning styles. All of the teachers at Newman maintain standards of impressive professional and personal achievement. Your support of the Newman Fund will help us provide opportunities for teachers to further advance their profession and areas of expertise.

Our devotion to program comes from our commitment to providing students with an education that is as deep as it is rich. The Newman School offers small classes, with a student/teacher ratio of 12 to 1, to support the school’s commitment to student centered education. Your support for this, and other initiatives, can help keep Newman on the forefront of progressive education.

Newman is committed to providing students and teachers with a campus environment that mirrors the excellence of the school's educational experience. Our Back Bay setting offers a perfect sanctuary for our students as they explore all that the great city of Boston has to offer. Your support of the Newman Fund will ensure that we can maintain and upgrade our physical plant to ensure a traditional environment with all the modern amenities.

The Newman School community:
The Newman Fund's unrestricted dollars provide major support for the school's operating costs. Since tuition pays only 80% of a Newman education, the Newman Fund helps bridge the gap between the actual cost and tuition revenue. Your early support will help ensure that Newman continues to be a leader in the private, secondary school environment.
