On November 20, the students of French I, II, III and AP braved the snow for a walk down Marlborough street to « La bibliothèque française ». The staff welcomed The Newman School as a new member with a presentation on the history of “L’alliance Française” and the library itself (since 1945 the collection has grown from 500 books to 25,000!). The students toured the collections and then were treated to a film presentation in the ballroom where they watched “Tintin”.
C’était fantastique!
